Field notebook 2

I made my second visit to my field study location on September 28. When I made my visit the air temperature was 65 degrees Fahrenheit, it had been raining for most of the day. The water temperature was much colder, at 49 degrees. The time was 5:47. Not much of the plant life changed since my last visit, however, the frogs seems to disappear, and the tall grasses were a darker green and slightly taller. The length of day was eleven hours and fifty one minutes. The biggest difference in my observations was that the water depth seemed to increase by seven to eight inches, and the density of the mud went down, causing me to sink to my calves in muck.

Field notebook 1

I made my first visit to my marsh for my field study on September 11. The air temperature was 73 degrees Fahrenheit and stayed dry and slightly humid all day long. The water temperature was 59 degrees. I made by visit at 7:36 and the length of the day was twelve hours and 34 minutes Some of the things I observed were many types of algae, frogs, duckweed, cattails, and lily pads. I noticed that the bottom of my swamp was very mucky, and everything sunk into the muck.
