Field notebook 3

I made my third visit to my field study location on October 17. When I made my visit the air temperature was 54 degrees Fahrenheit. It was sprinkling lightly. The water temperature was 44 degrees. The time was 2:30. The biggest difference since my last field study was the color changes. The weeds on the side of the swamp seemed to have mostly died out, and the trees had begun to change color and lose their leaves. There was 10 and a hald hours of daylight on October 17. The water depth decreased about two to three inches since my last visit.
